Social Exclusion in Eyes of the Population of Excluded Localities, social Workers and Officials

The theme of the thesis is the problem of social exclusion and socially excluded localities. The work deals with the view of inhabitants of socially excluded localities and experts who are involved in creating and implementing inclusive policies at the local level. The text is divided into a theoretical part, which deals with the concept of social exclusion, its history and current discourse. The following describes why and who is most at risk of social exclusion, what are its causes and consequences. Since this work deals with the view of socially excluded localities, theoretical part also describes the origin and definition of these localities. The practical part consists of an analysis of interviews with respondents from among the inhabitants of excluded localities and experts. The aim is to determine how these actors of inclusive policies perceived problem of social exclusion and excluded areas. It is the task of the work to find out what are the biggest problems of inhabitants of socially excluded localities, what are the social links within the localities and how is the problem of social exclusion solved at the local level.
Development of regional press in Žatec region after 1989

This paper describes and analyses in the context of media theory, particularly the theory of transformation and the regional journalism theory, the development of regional press in Žatec region after the revolution in 1989. The paper briefly describes the situation of the press in the Žatec region before 1989 and focuses on media theory. In following parts is comprehensively described the development since 1989, periodicals are described and their history is presented. In conclusion, periodicals are comprehensively analyzed. It is shown that, despite media theory, there is no monopolization and centralization of the press in Žatec region, on the other hand, commercialization is present. Finally, the post-revolutionary development is analyzed in relation to the political situation and it is shown that political developments have had a major impact on the starts, ends and contents of the periodicals.
The History of the Capuchin Monastery in Žatec

This work aims to present the Capuchin Monastery's history in Žatec, from its foundation in 1676 to its abolition in 1950. The monastery history itself is preceded by a presentation of the Capuchin order and a brief history of Žatec with a focus on the development of religion in the town. Within monastic history, important personalities connected with this monument are also presented. The next part deals with the artistic decoration of the Monastery Church of the Coronation of the Virgin Mary and the works of art of the monastery itself, which have been preserved in other institutions. At the end of the work is shown the current state of the whole monastery complex and its future plans.
Book of the furriers of Žatec 1474-1814

This master thesis deals with the guild book of furriers from Žatec, which originated from the period between 1474-1816. Its main objective is to create an edition of this book and make it available for further research. This thesis can be divided into two parts: introductory chapters and the actual edition of the book. In the first part are briefly introduced Prague furriers guilds, whose development are linked with guild from Žatec, further outlined is the history of the furrier's guild from Žatec. This chapter is largely based on the edited book and focuses primarily on the guild in the 16th and 17th century. It analyses the organization and most important regulation of the furriers. The next two chapters deal with the book itself. They analyse both the external and internal characteristics. Emphasis is placed on the description of the book and study of its internal structure. Editorial note summarizes the rules under which the edition was created. The second and larger part contains the edition itself. Czech hop as a geographical and cultural phenomenon

This Bachelor's Thesis focuses on Czech hops and hop industry as a spatial, geographical and cultural phenomenon. The aim is to describe the history of growing hops in the Czech Republic and determine how the tradition of hop industry influenced Czech culture, urbanism and landscape. The work contains information on hop growing regions and their historical development. The paper also provides statistics on the hop growing, hop varieties and export. Special attention is paid to the city of Žatec (Saaz) - the largest centre of the Czech hop industry. The thesis also shows how hop industry influenced urbanism and culture in Žatec. The practical part is dedicated to entertaining and educational complex called Hop and Beer Temple which is an important tourist target built in historical industrial buildings in the centre of Žatec.
Marketing Position of the Town Žatec in Tourism

The thesis deals with marketing activities of the north-bohemian town Žatec in terms of Tourism. It discovers its predispositions to be successful and up-to-date tourist destination. It highlights the role of the Tourism Office in Žatec as the main participant of the tourism in the town. The main goal is to evaluate current position of the town as one of the tourist destinations in the Czech Republic, to analyse current marketing strategy and to project a new marketing strategy for 2013. The thesis was discussed with the culture management of the town. It will be also a clue for the management to set its 2013 marketing strategy.
Marketing of tourism offer of the town of Žatec

The thesis analyses the marketing of tourism offer of the town of Žatec with a particular emphasis on its principal product -- the Temple of Hops and Beer. Its main objective is to formulate proposals of specific marketing measures for the popularization of the general tourism offer of the town of Žatec and the Temple of Hops and Beer for the last quarter of the year 2011 and 2012. After defining the main tourist industry attractions of Žatec, the thesis builts upon the SWOT analysis and 5P marketing mix. In the case of the Temple of Hops and Beer the paper presents a proposal of the marketing plan incorporating 5C marketing approach, which assesses the above-mentioned product from a broader visitor's point of view. Both approaches are adjusted to budget and public administration management rules. This thesis' conclusion will serve as an input for the tourism industry subjects in Žatec in accordance with the development strategies approved on local, regional, as well as national level.
